In the email dated Nov. Rush said: "I fundamentally disagree with this type of hazing. It is not within my job description or contract to perform duties of this kind. Lio Rush shares his experiences with racial inequality in the WWE
Rush released his song album, Ever After , earlier this week, and he is grateful for the chance to share his creation. In my wrestling career, a lot has been said about me. I wanted people to see another layer of me through my music. Rush wrote all of the music and pieced together the album over the past six months. His partner in the project, like in life, is his wife. Lio Rush: I was the first group of people that were announced. I actually made the call myself. I saw that there were a lot of news sites posting about it. Because I'm seeing it all over the internet and I don't want to find out over the internet or through one of my fans. I thought that it was really crazy, man. Because obviously nobody did what I did. Nobody else did what I did, or at least not a lot of people did. I don't know if people reached out to WWE to ask, but I can't imagine the people who literally found out either through the internet or if they got a phone call. Regardless of how they found out, nobody was expecting to wake up that morning and literally their dream job just swept from underneath them. Lio Rush : Yes, that was definitely a tweet that I made and have thought that it was very real comment.
