After celebrating their fiftieth anniversary in , Jazz Fest is showing no signs of slowing down, adding an extra day to the festivities, making it eight days in total. Welcoming around , fans each year, the festival is a celebration of Louisiana's music and culture, spread out across fourteen tents and stages. Every year Jazz Fest hosts some of the most influential artists of the last half century to step out onto the legendary main stage. The festival is accessible for those with mobility limitations. The ground are wheelchair accessible, and the site features handicap parking, specially reserved seating at all stage, and wheelchair-accessible potable toilets.
